Rust In Peace... Polaris

I have been listening to a ridiculous amount of classic Megadeth lately.... =P

such sweet stuff... and awesome lyrics.

Rust In Peace... Polaris
Tremble you weaklings, cower in fear
I am your ruler, land, sea and air
Immense in my girth, erect I stand tall
I am a nuclear murderer I am polaris
Ready to pounce at the touch of a button
My system locked in on military gluttons
I rule on land, air and sea
Pass judgement on humanity
Winds blow from the bowels of hell
Will we give warning, only time will tell
Satan rears his ugly head, to spit into the wind
Chorus
I spread disease like a dog
Discharge my payload a mile high
Rotten egg air of death wrestles your nostrils
Launch the polaris, the end doesn’t scare us
When will this cease
The warheads will all rust in peace

Bomb shelters filled to the brim
Survival such a silly whim
World leaders sell missiles cheap
Your stomach turns,your flesh creeps

High priest of holocaust, fire from the sea
Nuclear winter spreading disease
The day of final conflict
All pay the price
The third world war
Rapes peace, takes life
Back to the start, talk of the part
When the earth was cold as ice
Total dismay as the sun passed away
And the days where black as night

Eradication of earth’s
Population loves polaris
------------------------------------------------
If that doesn't sell you against nuclear war I just don't know what will... =)

Or this classic:

Take No Prisoners
Got one chance, infiltrate them
Get it right, terminate them
The panzers will, permeate them
Break their pride, denigrate them
And their people, retrograde them
Typhus, detriate them
Epidemic, devastate them
Take no prisoners, cremate them

Going to war, give’em hell
D-day, next stop Normandy
Beginning of the end
We know how to and sure as shit we’ll win
War is peace sure man
A retreat for the damned
A playground for the demented
A heaven for those who walk this world
Bereft of heart and soul
Love and war they say all is fair
Take his life
But won’t take his hair
Your body has parts your
Country can spare
By the way son here’s
Your wheelchair

He once had to be all he could be
Now he’s nothing for no one nowhere to see
Funny thing, he’s like you & me
It’s a funny thing, a funny thing
Tears streak his solemn stare
Abandoned for wreckage nobody cares
No one knew what would happen there
No one spoke no one even dared
Don’t ask what you can do for your country
Ask what your country can do for you
Take no prisoners, take no shit
------------------------------------------

Man I love Megadeth... =)

So... I finally got around to updating.

I got some interesting things for Christmas, a new drum throne, another 300GB hard drive, and a cell phone.  (The number is 304-4013, i'm on Cingular)

My birthday is next month, that means i'll be driving if things go well... I'm not sure what i'll be driving... and i'm not sure if I really care, I don't much care for driving, but I guess it will be pretty sweet to be able to go to friends houses whenever and have craploads of band practices without looking for rides for 5 people.

I have like 350$ saved up right now, and I'm considering 3 options with what to do with it and my Birthday money I will be recieving.

  1. I make some MAJOR overhauls on my computer, as in like... a Nvidea 6800 GT vid card and 2 gigs of RAM.
  2. I add a ton to my drum set, such as a Mike Portnoy Signiture splash, and a 16" Sabian AA Metal-X crash, among other things.  OR I get a full set of nice drum mics.
  3. I save it for something thats useful in the long term.
The third option is far too logical for me to even consider... so it's out.  I'll have to think about the other 2 over the next month.

I need to get a crapload of driving in, and I need to write said driving down... neither of which I have done.

The band is doing well (Axolotl I mean), We know 10 songs now:

  • Power Rangers Theme
  • The Ramones - Blitzkrieg Bop
  • Rufio - Drowning
  • Green Day - Ha Ha You're Dead
  • Metallica - Whiskey in the Jar
  • Linus and Lucy (Metalized of course)
  • Rush - A Passage to Bangkok
  • Iron Maiden - The Trooper
  • Megadeth - Symphony of Destruction
  • System of a Down - Toxicity
and we need to make some original songs, as well as learn some more covers... such as:

  • Secret Agent Bill - Invincibility (check that band out btw, out of Chicago, very sweet)
  • Children of Bodom - Everytime I Die
  • Rush - Limelight
  • Queensryche - Spreading the Disease
  • Dream Theater - As I Am
  • The Ghostbusters Theme
  • Alkaline Trio - Dethbed (I HAD NO PART IN THE CHOICE OF THIS SONG! XD)
If anyone has any suggestions for good cover songs, that would be cool.

School's goin alright... this post isn't getting any shorter...

Yes, I know the song selector at the top doesn't work... No, I'm not going to fix it.

Running Wild - Under Jolly Roger (That's an entire pirate themed album, zipped up using WinRar, you can unzip it with the same program, which a free trial of can be found online fairly easily.)
Sabaton - Primo Victoria
(Excellent war themed power metal, this one is on WWII)
Guilty Gear XX Soundtrack - Holy Orders (Be Just or Be Dead) (ZOMG... best metal video game soundtrack ever, all the tracks are instrumental, and you can check the rest of it out at http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/151)

I don't update very often.

Crew for musical is pretty fun, and soon we're gonna start doing a lot more tech stuff, which will be sweet.  The band has been goin ok, Teddy may be our new vocalist, he did an impressive job at Symphony of Destruction, if he's consistently that good he's good enough for sure. I really only wrote all that because he actually checks my Xanga...

Out of things to say already...

I WILL KUT YU!!!

Football game and dance was last night.  It was ok.  Then Teague, JJ, and Cody Manthei came over, we watched some videos, and the family guy movie.  That was pretty fun. Not a whole lot else to say really... pretty uneventful week...
